Coming Home

Whether it was located on a mountain, in a valley, on a rolling plain, in a country, a village, or in the city, when you have been away from home for any length of time, you have the desire to return. Especially if Mom and Dad are still there, but even when they are gone, you still crave to see the home place, familiar surroundings, the release of memories.

The Lord's church at Little Hocking has been a family home to many over the years. Many were born again in the midst of brothers and sisters in Christ. Precious memories of Bible classes, Vacation Bible School, Worship, Weddings, Funerals, Gospel meetings, Singings, Benevolent work and Fellowship were experienced here. We have laughed together, cried together, worked together, played together, sung together, and prayed together. We have some family that we haven't seen in a while, some for longer periods than others.

What we are hoping is that the attachment of home is still there and with some encouragement we can get at least some to come back home! Next Sunday, Roger Rush is going to have some great lessons on Coming Home. We will have a picnic lunch at the Little Hocking Park behind the elementary school (weather permitting) that will give us some time to get caught up on each other's lives.

Pray for your brothers and sisters to come back home. Invite them. Encourage them. Tell them you love them and want to see them. May God rekindle their desire to come back home through our love and encouragement.

Web-Site
lhcoc.com

We now have a website! You will find a listing of the current prayer lists, upcoming meetings, etc. on this new site. Check it out at lhcoc.com

Thank you Jeremy Pierce for the hard work and efforts at this endeavor. Please note this is a new site, and there are some “bugs” and quirks to work out. Please inform us of any errors, so we can make the necessary changes or
upgrades.

This is “our” site. Let someone know what you would like to see included in this media. Our listing of ministries will
eventually include photos of activities.

Our current “Extended prayer list” and chronic health issues listing, is being updated and will be included on the
website. Please be aware that for the time being, we will not be listing these names in the weekly bulletin. If you
notice a name that has been deleted, most likely it is because we did not receive an update as requested. Just let us know, and we can easily add the name again. Prayer requests may still be sent to Mary Hennen at mar-hen@adelphia.net, or you may send your request to mary_hennen@lhcoc.com

For some of our members we have begun listing e-mail addresses on the church site. If you wish to be removed from this list, or wish to be added, please contact Jeremy Pierce.
